The Network Movement for Justice and Development (NMJD) is pleased to announce that, at the conclusion of a special side event with Martin Rapaport, the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) committed a US $100,000 donation in support of the Peace Diamond Village in Sierra Leone.
The donation was officially presented by DMCC’s Executive Chairman and CEO, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, to NMJD’s Executive Director, Abu Brima, and will be channelled entirely towards addressing the development needs of the Peace Diamond Village.
This contribution reflects DMCC’s continued commitment to advancing sustainable community development in diamond-producing regions and strengthens ongoing efforts to ensure that mining communities benefit meaningfully from their natural resources.
